The Multicultural Working Group promotes multiculturalism within the occupation movement. The purpose of this group is to conduct outreach to the community with the goal of developing relationships with social and cultural organizations, foster discussion and communication in order to develop a more inclusive internal community, and provide a forum for the discussion of issues relating to marginalization, privilege, and exclusion so that we may transcend such barriers to unity and the pursuit of a greater society.
Multicultural Work Group meets on Saturdays at 1PM at camp.

Right on. That makes perfect sense. Certainly, women, ethnic minorities, and sexually diverse individuals seem to have almost as difficult a time in the movement (globally) as they do in our culture, sadly. I was at the TCU london site, and there were lots of women making this point. Sexism and sexual harassment in particular.

You’re right about the Scots. Their parliamentary system is strong, and in fact, in the current system, they are allowed to have more of a say over those back in mother england than the english do on them.
