• Public cell: Anyone can join & view messages online. Messages sent to this cell are also sent to @OccupyKC, so don’t sign up for both.
• Moderated chat: Messages must be approved before they are sent to the group
• Content: Occasional reminders about upcoming events, changes of location, etc. (I.e. “Tonight’s General Assembly has been moved to Westport Coffeehouse.”)
• Frequency: Approximately two texts per week.

@OKC-911 | Emergency notifications only

• Public cell: Anyone can join & view messages online. Messages sent to this cell are also sent to @OccupyKC, so don’t sign up for both.
• Curated chat (anyone can text, but an admin must approve it before it is sent to everyone)
• Frequency: Rare messages, but may occur at any time of the day or night (Test notifications will occur weekly) (this is pending approval)
• Join to be alerted about rare OccupyKC emergencies, such as police raids. For example: “15 police officers just showed up in riot gear, said they will start making arrests in 10 minutes. Come to Liberty Memorial if you can; call the mayor if you can’t.”

@OKC-needs | Stay informed about camp needs

• Public cell: Anyone can join & view messages online
• Moderated chat: Messages must be approved before they are sent to the group
• Content: Occasional notifications about camp needs (I.e. “Needed: tent stakes, cornmeal, AA batteries, and someone to pick up the aluminum for recycling. We NO LONGER NEED potatoes.”)
