We will be screening The Corporation, a film relevant to the Occupy movement and showing the development of the modern day corporation from the beginning to present day. This film highlights the corporations and their behavior as profit driven and antisocial constructs within our world.
Join us at St. Marks for this screening. 3800 Troost, Second Floor, Allen Hall. Enter off 38th st.
Occupy KC General Assembly has endorsed the Tax Day Parade, organized by PayUp KCP&L with heavy representation from people with Occupy KC. We, in conjunction with other community members, will be marching on corporate tax dodgers. Please meet at Barney Allis Plaza

It seems that not only are we the people not allowed to peaceably assemble and speak our minds in the Public Streets, but even the Public Sidewalk is unacceptable as soon as SLPD says so. But it’s okay for them to rip people off that sidewalk and arrest and injure them, and it’s okay for them to block the entire intersection while they haul away peaceful, non-violent protesters.
